The arms were officially granted on August 9, 1972. The arms show a "Schrannentisch" (judge's table) and stands for the local court that was held here for over 100 years. The two keys refer to the Principal Abbey of Berchtesgaden, which had many possessions in the area.
Deutsch: Blasonierung:„In Rot über einem aus dem Schildfuß wachsenden silbernen (weißen) Schrannentisch zwei gekreuzte silberne (weiße) und goldene (gelbe) Schlüssel.“ Offiziell lautet die Blasonierung:„In rotem Schild aufwärtsgekreuzt ein goldener und ein silberner Schlüssel über einem aufragenden steinernen Schrannentisch.“
Das Wappen wurde der Gemeinde von der Salzburger Landesregierung am 9. August 1972 verliehen. Der sogenannte Schrannentisch steht als Zeichen für den früheren Gerichtsort Anthering, an dem über 100 Jahre Recht gesprochen wurde. Die Schlüssel stellen den Bezug zur Fürstpropostei Berchtesgaden her, zu der die Gemeinde früher gehörte.
