Blasonierung: Von Rot über Silber (Weiß) schräggeteilt durch blau-silbernen (-weißen) Wellenbalken, vorn ein schwarzes Mühlrad (stillgelegte Mühle im Schweißthal), hinten ein silbernes (weißes) Schildchen (Familienwappen Heinrich I. von Schönecken, unter dessen Herrschaft der Ort erstmalig urkundlich erwähnt wurde).
