Object history
Deutsch: Die Gemeinde Trabitz wurde 1972/75 während der Gebietsreform aus den ehemaligen Gemeinden Preißach, Pichlberg, Feilersdorf und Weihersberg (ganz oder teilweise) gebildet. Der Turm ist das Wappensymbol des Prämonstratenserklosters Speinshart und erinnert an die grundherrschaftliche Zugehörigkeit von Preißach, Pichelsdorf und Feilersdorf bis zur Säkularisation 1803. Der springende Hirsch ist redendes Element aus dem Wappen der Familie Hirschberg, die von 1625 bis in das 19. Jahrhundert das Landsassengut Weihersberg innehatte.
