Blasonierung
„In Rot ein silberner Schräglinksbalken, belegt mit einer blauen Wellenleiste, nach der Teilung begleitet von zwei abgeschnittenen silbernen Zweigen, oben eine Schlehe mit fünf schwarzen Früchten und unten eine Trollblume mit drei Blüten.“[1]

Am 3. Dezember 2010[2] beschloss die Gemeindevertretung Turnow-Preilack die Annahme des vorstehend beschriebenen Wappens, das der Innenminister des Landes Brandenburg am 18. April 2011[1] genehmigte.

Das von Uwe Reipert gestaltete Wappen symbolisiert naturräumliche Motive. Die Wellenleiste versinnbildlicht einen Entwässerungsgraben (Präsidentengraben), der bei der Regulierung des Wasserstandes im hochwassergefährdeten Gemeindegebiet eine wichtige Bedeutung hat. Die beiden Zweige symbolisieren die namensgebenden Gemeindeteile. Der Schlehenzweig verweist auf den Ortsnamen von Turnow, der slawischen Ursprungs ist und „Ort, wo Dornensträucher stehen“ bedeutet (R. E. Fischer, Die Ortsnamen der Länder Brandenburg und Berlin, Berlin 2005, S.169). Für den Ort Preilack („Siedlung am Luch“, ebenda S.133) wurde die Trollblume als Motiv gewählt.[3]
