„Gespalten von Blau und Silber; vorn ein links gewendetes goldenes Seepferdchen; hinten ein aufgerichteter grüner Eibenzweig mit roten Früchten.“
Deutsch: Wappenbegründung:
In das Wappen wurde die Figur des Seepferdchens aus dem 1951 geschaffenen Gemeindewappen übernommen, das nicht den heraldischen Anforderungen entsprach. Es soll den Ort als Ostseebad symbolisieren. Mit dem Eibenzweig als redendes Zeichen soll bildlich Bezug zu dem aus dem Slawischen stammenden Ortsnamen (Tzys = Eibe), hergestellt werden. Die Schildfarben deuten auf die Zugehörigkeit der Gemeinde zum Landesteil Vorpommern. Das Wappen wurde am 12. Mai 1995 durch das Innenministerium genehmigt und unter der Nr. 82 der Wappenrolle von Mecklenburg-Vorpommern registriert.
