Deutsch: „Das Wappen ist geteilt. Oben ist in Schwarz ein wachsender rotgeschnäbelter goldener (gelber) Adler; unten in Silber (weiß) ein schreitender, silbern- (weiß)-bewehrter roter Löwe.“ Durch Genehmigungsverfügung des Regierungspräsidenten in Köln vom 11.09.1972 führt die Gemeinde Reichshof ein Siegel, ein Wappen und eine Flagge. Der Adler steht als Zeichen der alten Reichsherrlichkeit des Reichshofes und der Bergische Löwe als Zeichen der alten Landesherrlichkeit.
English: „The name is taken from the former Imperial Estate Reichshof Eckenhagen, which was established in 1167 and acquired by the Counts of Berg in 1257. The upper part of the arms shows the Imperial Eagle, and is used as a canting symbol for the municipality. The lower part is the lion of the Counts of Berg, and is taken from the seal of Eckenhagen from 1557.“
